ok, i work in a dental clinic, and i've never smelled breath this bad!!! i brush her teeth regularly, but its not making a difference. she doesn't eat her own poo, so thats not it. i pick up her poo right after she does it. but this breath is a 10 out of 10 on the stink scale! is it because she's loosing her baby teeth?
My puppy is loosing her baby teeth, but her breath is HORRIBLE!!! advice?
Our Papillon just went thru the same thing. The best thing we found was a spearmint favored rope by Fresh %26amp; Floss at Petco. The good thing is that it comes in different sizes so it will work no matter the dog. Give it a try.
Reply:dog breath mints-no joke
Reply:sounds like she has lost her puppy breath also. buy some of those breath cleaning hard bisquits for dogs, that might help.
Reply:You should ask your vet for some doggy breath freshener. There are mint treats that you can give them also. But I would ask the vet. Good luck!
Reply:go buy everything that helps your dogs breath
Reply:Ah bless her, she can't help it. Its not her teeth, or lack of ha ha thats causing the bad breath, its her diet - what are you feeding her? I can bet she's very ' windy ' too eh? Give her charcoal ( black ) biscuits to munch on, they'll get rid of the wind and the badness thats causing the bad breath. Give her a polo mint now and again, thats also great for wind and a raw carrot two or three times a day is great for digestion - its certainly not her teeth!
Reply:If it is not the typical "puppy breath" take her to the vet for a check up and teeth cleaning.
