I need dental help, please!!!!!?
Hi! In most states YOU CAN NOT be denied care because you are disabled. Call Social Services and find a dentist that participates with the disabled. Often nursing homes will have a dentist that comes to their facility and start calling them to find out who in your area does that. Also, the State has to provide you will transportation to the dentist as well. All this in under the Disability Act and you have to dig a little deeper for find an advocate that will work with you. They are out there and that is their job. MOST teaching hospitals have a dental clinic that must provide free care. You just have to keep asking. Don't give up, the hospital 3 miles from me has a 4 chair dental clinic and sees patients all day 9-5. Local dentists volunteer 1-2 days a month to do theharder cases. Keep trying it's out there. M
Reply:Have you gone to the Baylor Dental College. They have a clinic where the dental students practice. Get signed up with the clinic. They will help you.
Reply:Hi, sorry to hear about your situation. After giving your situation some thought. I'm going to suggest you read this reply and try some of the options suggested. WWW.CARECREDIT.COM specializes in loans for DENTAL or MEDICAL care. You will still have to make a relatively small payment each month, and their interest rates are hefty.

The treating dentist will have to provide proof to www.carecredit.com (in order to establih an account), but most dentists are glad to do that, because the company pays them immediately for the work.

The good thing about this option is that you can save money to pay for treatment over the course of a year, rather than having to pay upon completion of treatment.

If you are upfront with the dentist and tell him/her about your financial and disability (you might want to provide proof) situation, you may discover that the dental office offers patients a payment plan. It is always worth asking about this! He may even feel sorry for you, and take you on as his good deed for the year. You'll never know, if you don't try.
