What is the most annoying thing your customers do at your job? what do you do for a living?

i work at a dental clinic... and it pisses me off when i answer the phone and say "******* dental clinic, how may i help you?" and the person on the other line says "is this ******* dental clinic?" ....... dude..... what did i just say? i get this at least 20 times a day!





then i get ticked when someone calls in tears because their tooth has been killing them for the past 2 months and they send me scrambling trying to find them an appointment time because they can not wait a second longer to come in....... why didn't they call us two months ago? hmmmmmmm.......... probably should have thought that one through a little better.





then i hate when i pick up the phone and the other person is yelling in my ear....... i'm not deaf. and also, if they're doing something, like playing with their kid...yeah..... call me back when you're not busy.





also, an appointment is not a suggestion time..... that is the time when they're supposed to be there! why don't they get this?

Oh my god, that is funny! I mean, I can totally understand where you`re coming from!





I was a Cashier at a Gas Station and people would do stupid and annoying things EVERY damn day, like when a pump is OUT OF ORDER (it has a CONE in front AND a RED Out of Order sign on the Nozzle) they still park there and wonder why it doesn`t work....can ya ******* read??


Then, if we`re out of a Soda Flavor at the fountain and put an out of order sign on it, they still try to use it.


Then people bitching about the Gas Prices to me AS IF I had anything to do with it.


Oh and then they complain about showing me their damn ID`s for Cigarettes when they just turned 18! Listen, if you were born in the 80's, don`t complain about showing me your ******* ID. Those are the people who NEVER worked in Retail their entire life and think they`re better than the rest of us, but you know what? Everyone is doing something for someone else. We all provide a service and there is no reason for being a butthole.

Reply:I hate it when I call my customers and leave a message, which always ends "... if this time or date will be inconvenient for you, please call me back at xxx.xxx.xxxx: if not, I'll see you on xxx at xxxx time..."





Then I get there and the office is closed for lunch. Or closed on that day. Or they don't know where their equipment is. Or they decided they didn't want their equipment maintained, but didn't bother calling back.





I maintain medical equipment for doctors, school nurses, and government agencies.
Reply:I hate it when customers tell me that they can get better prices on auto glass in OKC or Tulsa.(I work in a relatively small town of about 33,000) Yeah, everything is cheaper there because they sell more quantities! Go to Wal-Mart %26amp; tell the manager that in Orlando, oranges are fresher %26amp; cheaper, and see if he gives a crap!
Reply:tell me what they want, and then it isn't even close to what they end up asking for eventually; worse yet, not knowing what they want, and asking for endless re-dos to get the exact "look" they had in mind... and of course there's the idiots who think because their computer came with a "graphics" software, they're designers... graphic designer, 30+ years.
